This unique countryside cottage near Sunderland was the perfect escape for a weekend getaway. the location, just under Penshaw Monument, provided a peaceful oasis in the middle of the countryside. the facilities in the property were top, notch, with a well laid, out design and thoughtful touches like a decorated Xmas tree and lights. We especially enjoyed the delicious cooked breakfast at the cafe next door. the off, road parking was convenient for our two medium, sized vehicles, and the proximity to the Stadium of Light made it a great choice for sports fans. the cozy sitting area and patio made for a relaxing evening, and the fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher was a bonus.
